A colourful umbrella array provided the backdrop of this rainy Saturday auction. Auctioneer Justin Long gathered the crowd in the front garden of the property and enjoyed emphasising that the purchaser of this property would be enjoying all it has to offer in no time at all. Kicking off the bidding with a vendor bid of $6,700,000, Mr Long called for advances of $50,000. Perhaps the crowd weren’t keen on getting their arms wet, but there were no takers. Mr Long took a break to confer with the vendors and upon his return, noted that when he does that move, only the bidders are left. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case and Mr Long passed the property in at the original vendor bid of $6,700,000.
