Auctioneer Simon Shrimpton introduced the renovated, single-fronted terrace located at 10 Doon Street, Prahran. A slow start, as Shrimpton offered a vendor bid of $1,450,000 receiving a response from Bidder 1 with a $10,000 raise. Once again there was silence from the crowd so Mr Shrimpton placed a second vendor bid of $1,480,000. A response from a second bidder of $1,485,000 came and from then on Bidder 1 and 2 dueled with rises of $10,000. With the value at $1,560,000, Bidder 2 nodded his head to communicate to the auctioneer that he was done and the property was bought under hammer by Bidder 1.
